Kris Anderson, Minister of Community and Global Impact

Family:  Kris married Nicole Anderson on May 9, 2009. On July 11, 2010, Kris and Nicole welcomed their son Josiah Taylor Anderson into the family. Kris also enjoys a 'love/hate' relationship with his four-legged feline friend, 'Kitten.'

Education:  Kris graduated with honors from preschool! Seriously, he graduated from Truett-McConnell College in May of 2000 with an Associates Degree. Afterwards, he attended North Georgia College & State University from 2000-2002. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. He is looking forward to pursuing a Master's Degree from Southeastern Seminary.

Notable:  Kris has served the local church as a lay leader since 2001. He has also served on staff at Stonemill Church in Suwanee, GA and Zion Hill Baptist Church in Buford, GA as a Student Minister. Kris also serves as Executive Director for a new ministry venture, Youth Outreach United International. After being a 'lukewarm' Christian for a long time, Kris wants to be truly transformed into the image of Christ and desires to see the body of Christ (the local church) grow in their loyalty and devotion to the Lord. He believes that God has a purpose and a plan for every individual Believer to get involved in and on mission with what God is doing in the lives of people around them.

Hobbies:  Kris enjoys watching and following his favorite sports teams, especially the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons. He was born into 'Bulldog Nation' so naturally; he lays aside any dignity and barks as he roots on the Dawgs! He also enjoys reading various books at any given time, spending time with family, and fishing (which, doesn't happen often enough!) He also likes to play golf, but can' figure out why some of his 'tee-shots' land behind him.
